Oh Frida, you're so fine! You're so fine, you blow my mind! Oh Frida!

On my flight from Charleston to Sarasota. Frida is my traveling buddy. I was listening to the Woodstock soundtrack and struggling not to sing aloud.

I am constantly making up songs in my head about this Frida paquet.  Those of you who are old enough to know "Oh Mickey" will be stuck with this song in your heads as well. Sorry! Kind of. Those of you who know me well...know I am completely tone deaf AND have no rhythm. My rendition of "Oh Frida! You're so Fine!" is particularly...special. Be glad this is a photo and not a video!!

I am in love with this canvas and these gorgeous threads. I have been traveling a lot this week and Frida has been my side kick. When I showed her to my sister Puddy, she informed me that Frida's colors are much more vibrant and beautiful than in my photos.

Brooke and I have different ideas about color.  She loves bright vibrant needlepoint and mixes colors I would never consider mixing. I tend to be more subdued in my color choices and am currently designing an all neutral beach house.  These paquets we are making will look gorgeous in my neutral hideaway.  As I was stitching Frida's shawl in the plane from Charleston and dove into some of this outrageously gorgeous green background, I was grateful Brooke doesn't listen to me. Occasionally I'm smart enough I listen to her.  This pillow will look outstanding on one of my white arm chairs.
